A dangerous creature is a classification of creature.

Summary

Dangerous creatures, also known as Player Predators, are a classification of creature. Most types of fauna could be considered a dangerous creature.

To be considered dangerous, a creature must be hostile towards players without provocation. Not all carnivores are considered dangerous creatures, with normal predators ignoring players and only chasing Prey creatures. Player Predators will ignore Prey creatures and focus on any players in close proximity.

Dangerous creatures have this banner:

  Warning! This creature is dangerous and will attack without provocation.

Note normal Predators and creatures considered Passive will attack a player if attacked first. If thus provoked, they will also show the Dangerous Creature icon above, but are not considered Player Predators.
